Small town, dominated by its castle and surrounded by a dramatic mountain range. It's near Sierra de Cazorla and the Coto Nacional de Cazorla nature park, both with great landscapes and good for walks and climbs.
The town has interesting Iberian, Roman and Arabian architectural remains.

Hollum is a small village on the island of Ameland.
The castle in the caves is amazing!
Bulnes is a little and remote but beautiful village in the Picos de Europa National Park. Good for hiking. You can also access Bulnes by an underground funicular.
Saint-Jean-de-Luz, France (2 reviews)
Saint-Jean-de-Lulz is a fishing port (lined with colorful boats) and a famous resort, near the Spanish border. Known for its architecture, sandy bay and the sea-food cuisine.
I'ts also a typical destination for surfers.
Little and nice town surrounded by olive fields. There are a beautiful church of s. XVI and the remains of two castles: Cambil and Alhabar
Although Instanbul is bigger, Ankara is the capital of Turkey. There are many interesting museums and sites to visit there and a fine nightlife. There is a skiing center nearby.
Turkey's cultural and financial center, Instanbul is a great romantic citiy. I really enjoyed the Grand Bazaar.
Relaxed small-town, enough cool yet cosy bars, quirky designer shops and bohemian cafés, all within walking distance of each other.
More Danish than Swedish... Great for cycling!
Florence is a beautifull and romantic city. Perfect place to visit for those who like art, history and architecture.
Ancient Rome is really impressive but the contemporary city is incredibly dirty, with dangerous traffic, overpriced food and rude people.
Amsterdam, Netherlands (6 reviews)
Lots to see, great nightlife and friendly people (most of them speak excellent English). Van Gogh museum and Anne Frank house are a must
More expensive than the rest of Greece, but it's a picturesque village, with its whitewashed houses, cycladic architecture and friendly and open people.
Most of the beaches are very crowed, but all them are spectacular, sandy and with crystal-clear waters.
Nice weather, nice people, nice food, nice beaches and nice landscapes ;)
With a lot of sites to see, Paris is a a pedestrian friendly city, it has a good metro system, but don't take the it during rush hour if you are claustrophobic.
The food is wonderful and prices are very affordable.
One of my favourite visited places. There are fantastic traditional Basque restaurants, fun bars, nice beaches, beautiful streets, excellent public transport and some of the friendliest people in the world! Good for cycling
Excellent night life. Very cosmopolitan city. A must visited place!
Alhambra, Flamenco, Arabic Baths, Mirador de San Nicolas, Albaycin, Parque del Triunfo... So many things to do and see on this beautiful and mystical city!
charming, little, affordable destination
