Casa Howard Florence accommodation, on Via della Scala 18, opened in the year 2005 after 2 years of intensive refurbishing. We kept all the original flooring and ceilings to fully achieve the Casa Howard Concept: very high standard houses aiming to host special People.

Situated in the expensive side of town, at a walking distance from the railway station, the Uffizi, the Duomo and Via Tornabuoni, expect an intimate and elegant mansion, a discrete address, and unusually decorated, warm rooms - as well as our NEW Concierge Service.

Rome Guesthouse: Via Sistina

The Guest House on Via Sistina, 149 is on the second floor (with elevator) of an ancient palazzo. It opened in the year 2002 and was decorated by Tommaso Ziffer, who incidentally also decorated Rome's Hotel de Russie.

Our personal touch is in the many ornaments around the house, brought back from our travels: a porcelain monkey hanging from the ceiling light; Chinese dumpling holders used as soap boxes; and fashionable fabrics throughout the house from Paris, London, China, India....

Expect an intimate & luxurious Rome accommodation, a fantastic location near the Spanish Steps, unusually designed rooms and first class service. Casa Howard Rome on Via Capo le Case was opened in the year 2000 and resembles an English-style guest house, although inside a historic Roman building near the Spanish Steps (»more about the Casa Howard Concept). Walk up the marble steps and enter a heaven of peace and quietness after the hussle and bustle of the Spanish Steps area. A cosy, charming Rome accommodation, resembling the private house of a stylish friend, with high wooden-beamed ceilings and parquet floors, and 5 rooms, decorated with taste and comfortably furnished.

This intimate & luxurious Guesthouse has a fantastic location by the Spanish Steps, unusually designed rooms and first class service. We treat our guests like friends and all is based on trust. There is also a Turkish Hammam Bath to help you relax after a long day walking Rome, the Eternal City. (Unless you are a guest of the Chinese Room, booking the Hammam is essential.)
